Voices from Our Chambers

At Chambers of Firdaus, every experience matters — whether from our former pupils, legal associates, or staff members who’ve grown with us along the way. Their stories and reflections highlight the supportive culture, professional guidance, and shared values that define our chambers.

During my three years at the firm, I gained the skills and confidence to manage cases independently and build strong client relationships. When I decided to open my own practice, the firm fully supported me and has continued to offer guidance whenever needed. I’m truly grateful for the foundation they provided.

Nada

Legal Assistant

The Partners at Chambers of Firdaus were incredible mentors, guiding me with patience throughout my legal practice which is something I’ll always value. I especially appreciated how open they were to my ideas and suggestions. Conversations about legal strategy were never one-sided where my input was taken into account. Most importantly, the partners taught me to think like a lawyer.

Savreena

Legal Assistant

I did my pupillage here for 9 months and got a lot of exposure to real cases. Everyone was always willing to teach and guide me, but what I really appreciated was that I wasn’t treated as just a pupil. I was given the chance to draft and prepare cause papers, not just do research and make coffee. I was trusted to handle files on my own. From day one, I felt like I was treated as a lawyer and not just a “pupil”. That experience gave me the confidence and skills I still rely on today in my role as a Deputy Public Prosecutor.

Wani

Pupil & Staffs

I was with the firm for almost 2 years and really enjoyed the environment. Everyone was supportive and always willing to help each other, so I never felt like I was working alone. The support was always there, whether from other lawyers, partners, or even the staff. My time here also trained me to be meticulous with details, and that has really helped me in my current role as an in-house counsel.

Banushaa

Legal Assistant

I worked at the firm as a legal associate and got to experience the full scope of litigation work. From the very beginning until the day I left, the support I received was amazing. It truly felt like a ‘you’ll never walk alone’ environment. Even after starting my own firm, I still continue to receive tremendous support from Chambers of Firdaus in so many ways.

Poh/Alex

Legal Assistant

I first joined the firm as an intern and later became a litigation secretary. That was where I got to experience the full scope of litigation work, from drafting to managing files to watching cases play out. It opened my eyes and I truly enjoyed the experience. I learned things here that I don’t think I could have picked up anywhere else, and that experience has shaped my path. I carry those lessons with me now in my work at the Bar Council.
